Once upon a time, many years ago, in the early 17th century, with Spanish settlers introducing the beans during the colonization campaigns in the Colombian mountains. In 2018, we embarked on a project to introduce the unique "single farm" coffee from one of the world's most renowned coffee-producing countries to grocery stores in the USA, commencing operations in the New York City Metro Area. In the "Cafetales," (coffee plantation) when the coffee beans are ready, we meticulously select only the red beans, one by one, always by hand. Our 100% Colombian coffee is the outcome of a grower culture that highly values the natural process. Each time a "cafetero" selects a bean, they do so with the conviction and intention of providing the best coffee in the world.
Our Arabica coffee variety thrives at altitudes ranging from 4,000 ft to 6,500 ft on the breathtaking Colombian mountains, allowing the "cafeteros" to collaborate with nature: clouds moisten the coffee fruits, rain nourishes the plants, and the sun dries the beans. Subsequently, the beans journey from the mountaintops to the farm for roasting, following a century-old process that ensures enduring quality.
Upon opening a Cafetales bag, you are greeted with the aroma of chocolate, caramel, fruits and flowers, integral to the nation's distinctive coffee-growing culture. We invite you to savor the smooth and rich flavor that traverses from Colombia's natural landscapes to your cup.
